After a long break, Edinburgh Scottish Dancers are dipping our toes back into the water and starting back with a workshop celebrating the 250th anniversary of Sir Walter Scott's birth. The RSCDS will shortly be re-publishing the set of six dances, originally published in 1820, which all have connection to the Heart of Midlothian - the seventh book in Scott's Waverley series.
With an interest and expertise in historic dances, we're delighted to welcome Jimmie Hill, to lead us through the dances on Sunday 14 November, 2pm at Murrayfield Parish Church Hall, Ormidale Terrace, Edinburgh, EH12 6EQ with Andrew Nolan at the piano.
Price £7 (£5 for students). Contactless payment is now available at ESD events.
Please drop us an email ahead of the day to secure your place at firstname.lastname@example.org. As with all dancing events at the moment, we need to comply with various Covid procedures. Please stay at home if you are feeling unwell on the day for whatever reason, practice good hand hygiene, and wear a mask when not dancing.
