College Wynd, Edinburgh Old Town

On 15th August 1771, Sir Walter Scott was born in a third-floor apartment on College Wynd in Edinburgh Old Town, a narrow alleyway leading from the Cowgate to the gates of the University of Edinburgh (Old College).
