Situated within the astonishingly beautiful Lochaber Geopark in the Highlands, Glencoe’s deep valley and towering mountains, carved out by icy glaceries and volcanic explosions centuries ago, is the setting of Scott’s poignant poem “On the Massacre of Glencoe”.
